Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only child born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, an engineer and tool maker. She was also a worker in a factory. Her birth date was the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone was thought to be an academically talented child when she began in the second grade at age five. She graduated with a high school diploma from Saegertown in Saegertown situated in Pennsylvania in 1975. Additionally, she participated at the Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt in 1977, moved in New Jersey for a modeling job. She was signed by Ford Modeling Agency a week further. After a year spent between Milan and Paris, Stone moved to Europe. Stone however became disillusioned in Europe by the fashion industry, and decided to venture to acting. Woody Allen's movie, "Stardust Memories", was a mixed success when she was 20.
