Shailene Woodley, an American actor and activist. She gained fame for her performance in the role of Alexandra King as a teen addict on The Descendants. Following her excellent performance on The Descendants she went on to take on other parts that demonstrated her versatility. Shailene went on to secure an important position in the world of film early in her career. This is a feat in and of itself. Shailene started her career in film by acting in television series as well as commercials. In later years, she portrayed prominent roles in Hollywood films.
