Dennings was in a relationship with Nick Zano from 2011-2014, her co-star in "2 Broke Girls". She began dating Josh Groban after their breakup. The couple remained together up till 2016. Dennings and Andrew W.K. met in the beginning of 2021. Soon, the couple began dating. They announced their commitment to each other in May 2021. Dennings had been a big fan of the singer from 2014 onwards. Dennings was raised Jewish however she has stated that religion is not a part of her daily routine. She enjoys gardening, reading and painting. She was planning to enroll in art school in the past, but her plan was ruined by a flooding that caused the destruction of her portfolio. It was the flood that prompted her to begin acting. She isn't a drinker or smoke, and she enjoys Transcendental Meditation. She's also an animal activist, and she has a cat who is her pet.
