Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 - - January 19th January 19, 2008) was an American film, theatre television, voice actress. Pleshette began her theatre career and was featured in films in the late 1950s. Then, she became a prominent actor in movies such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). In later years, she was a part of numerous television shows and was frequently a guest actor. She was Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 to 1978, in which she earned many Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette, a daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born on the 31st of January 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist and choreographer who performed under her stage name Geraldine Rivers.
